At one time or another we have all been stuck in a rut. We try the same things to promote our businesses, fall into that comfort zone and we have a hard time getting out.
In our opinion, the best and most experience business owners aren’t afraid to try new things and stay on top of new trends as much as they can. Attending different conferences and seminars is a great way to meet new people, network, as well as pick the brains of non-competitive business owners and find out what works for them.
The day of the newspaper ad is coming to a halt. As a matter of fact, that has been the case for years, but many individuals have a hard time accepting change. If you fall into that group of those who don’t like change, no one else can tell you to take a leap of faith and try something else. You are the only one who can make that happen..and really, what do you have to lose?
Making changes doesn’t mean a loss of sales, especially if you have been advertising and marketing your business the same way for a while now. In fact, dipping your toe in unchartered waters may actually generate new eyes on your brand, which is a good thing!
At the end of the day, don’t be afraid to step outside of the proverbial “box” and try your hand at something new. Because you never know…you might just stumble upon something that turns out to be a gold mine!
