If you haven’t already noticed, Social Media platforms are quite effective to build your business. Why? The answer is pretty simple; just about every one of your customers are using at least ONE of the social media platforms. So how can you take advantage of cost effective way of growing your business? Here are the 1,2,3’s of social media;
Consistency – Is the biggest down fall of social media. If you aren’t consistent then you are stunting your own growth!
Accountability – Too often businesses rely on a group of people to “man” their social media. The down side to that are their other responsibilities. If the person(s) managing your social media is also the receptionist, marketing manager, salesman etc. you stand little chance of taking full advantage. Outsource your social media to someone who understands social media. Just because someone is personally active on social media doesn’t necessarily mean they understand how to grow your following.
Engagement – If someone follows you and they ask a question, you better be quick to respond. Social media enthusiasts know that all these different platforms are communities and news feeds for information. They also know that they can get information fast..and they expect to!
