Coroplast is corrugated plastic and is a staple for outdoor signage. Rigid, strong and durable, it’s perfect for lawn signs and will hold up for years if mounted properly on walls and fences. Grommets are generally added every 2 feet for easy mounting using zip ties for wire fences or screws for solid walls or wood fences. H- Stakes can be added for mounting on lawns or any other soft surface.
Foamcore is rigid, but extremely light. Ideal for indoor use and presentations it consists of a smooth paper face, front and back, with a foam center. Not meant for any exposure to weather but is favoured for presentations because it is very rigid and easy to carry. Not suitable for Step Stakes as there are no ‘flutes’ in the material.
PVC is a smooth plastic suitable for smaller poster type signs. It doesn’t have the ridges that coroplast has. It will hold up outdoors with support as on an easel or flush to a wall/fence. Not suitable for Step Stakes as there are no ‘flutes’ in the material. They can be generally mounted with tape, screws directly through the sign or added grommets.
For either option pick your size in 1 sided or 2 sided and laminated or not. Laminated roughly doubles the sign life by protecting the image from UV rays as well as scuffing and weather.
