Booklets – Saddle Stitched or Squarefold

NOTE: Each page is 1 side, for example, for 28 sheets printed 2 sides please indicate 56 pages in the order.

Saddle Stitched Booklets is the most cost effective way to bind a book. It consists of folding and stapling at the fold (spine). This magazine style binding is good for up to 88 pages of 50 lb uncoated while the Squarefold is good for up to 204 Pages of 50 lb uncoated including a self cover. Less for heavier paper.

To avoid blank sides keep your page number divisible by 4. If you cannot, there will be blank side(s) at the end of the booklet.

Squarefold Booklets are a less expensive alternative to Perfect Binding at the same price per page as regular Saddle Stitching.. In addition to being able to print on the spine, the sheets are stitched together, so you never need to worry about the book splitting in the middle. You get the look and layflat of Perfect Binding along with a more robust bind and a Saddle Stitch price.
